As part of the commitment and improvement actions, we are pleased to announce that we have attained the UNI ISO 30415 certification on Diversity & Inclusion.
What is the UNI ISO 30415?
The UNI ISO 30415:2021 is an international standard that provides guidelines for diversity and inclusion (D&I) interventions in organizations. It helps companies to design, implement, and evaluate D&I policies and practices that are aligned with our strategic objectives and values.
Why become D&I certified?
At RINA, we believe that diversity and inclusion are not only ethical and social responsibilities, but also strategic assets that enhance our innovation, creativity, and competitiveness. We are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to our common goals.
We have been working on several D&I initiatives in the past years, attaining in 2023 the Gender Equality Certification against the Italian standard UNI PdR 125 - Management System for Gender Equality, which defines the requirements for the implementation of a management system for gender equality within organizations.
Obtaining the UNI ISO 30415 certification is a natural step to consolidate our efforts and to demonstrate our leadership in this field.
What are the next steps?
The ISO 30415 certification is not the end of our journey, but rather a milestone and a motivation to keep advancing our D&I agenda. We will continue implementing and evaluating our DE&I action plan, and monitoring our progress and impact.
Achieving ISO 30415 certification means that RINA has demonstrated effective processes to promote diversity and inclusion, and it reflects our core values of fairness, respect and valuing differences.
