To enroll in the CSWIP 3.1 course, the following are required:
- Visual acuity and color sense certificate (issued by a doctor or optometrist).
- Documented experience: At least 3 years as a welding inspector or 5 years as a welding coordinator or 1 year as an instructor or workshop supervisor
- CV in English detailing welding experience
Upon passing the exam, the candidate receives the CSWIP Certificate of Proficiency – Welding Inspector 3.1, accompanied by a personal badge. The certification is valid for 5 years, renewable based on documentation.
