FSC® - FM Certification

The Forest Stewardship Council® certification certifies the Forest Managament

FSC is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation established to promote responsible management of the Earth's forests.

FSC is widely recognised as one of the most important initiatives in the last decade to promote responsible forest management worldwide.

Forest management certification is an independent assessment of the forest management unit to verify that a forest meets the internationally recognised standards of the Forest Stewardship Council, FSC.

The FSC label provides a reliable link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling customers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment, and providing consistent business value.

Certification Procedure

Why RINA?

Thanks to the technical expertise in forestry management, we are accredited by ASI (Assurance Services International) for FSC® Custody Chain Certification (Licence Code FSC® A000532) and in application process to get the FSC Forest Management accreditation.

Due to a violation of FSC requirements by external auditors in China, ASI has temporarily suspended RINA's global FSC Chain of Custody accreditation from December 19, 2024, for six months. In line with our values of integrity and transparency, we are working, in accordance with ASI accreditation requirements, to resolve the situation. All existing RINA FSC-COC certificates remain valid. We will ensure continuous support through our reference offices to minimize the impact on your certification processes: please contact us for any needs.
