The course allows the maintenance of Hazmat Expert qualifications. The training course has been developed in line with the requirements set in the SRR and the HKC. The course is mandatory every 3 years.

- Requirements for the Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) preparation of New and Existing Ships
- Properties of the hazardous materials
- Sampling Methodologies
- Hazardous materials survey on board a ship. Sampling on board ships, methods of sampling included in the Annex II of the SRR
- Health and Safety. Precautionary measures for safe sampling and use of personal protective equipment
- Reference standards for testing samples
- Calculation of the hazardous materials amounts based on the analysed results
- Hazardous materials survey reports

Hazmat Experts who want to keep their qualification.

HAZMAT Expert Certificate / Certification is issued upon successful completion of the final exam.
