In January 2024, OCIMF started phase 3 of the SIRE 2.0, the most fundamental revision to their tanker vetting programme. The new vessel inspection system is designed to deliver a more accurate report on a vessel’s quality and its crew, highlighting potential future performance.
SIRE 2.0 introduces a new risk-based vessel inspection questionnaire that encompasses four main areas:

The course aims to provide detailed insights into the SIRE 2.0 Programme and Inspection; the participants will be able to familiarize with the expectations of the 12 chapters of SIRE 2.0 and with the new Compiled Vessel Inspection Questionnaire (CVIQ). It also aims to explain how the Vessels can be efficiently prepared for vetting inspections and be able to demonstrate a strong and ongoing commitment to HSQE excellence.
